A Note From Mrs. Cresap
Dear Antelope Trails Families,
Welcome to the 2017-2018 school-year! I am thrilled to be serving as your child’s principal and am excited to meet each of you as we begin our year together. Antelope Trails Elementary is a distinctive school filled with talented and caring teachers, students who work hard to do their best, and families who care deeply about education. I look forward to working with each of you to ensure your child is able to learn at high rates, explore their curiosities, and discover new ways to express their thoughts and ideas.
This year marks my 26th year in education. During that time, not only have I been able to work with and teach elementary age students in grades K - 5, I have also been able to train and coach teachers while being an assistant principal at a middle school as well as elementary principal at several elementary schools in Illinois and Colorado. Since that time, I have also had the opportunity to serve as a district level administrator for six years and be one of the founders/administrator of a charter school that is still going strong 16 years later.
I am eager to support everyone—teachers, students, and parents—in our ongoing pursuit of meaningful experiences that result in personal growth, academic success, and an eagerness to learn more. My door is always open. Please feel free to stop in, call or email me to discuss any thoughts, or ideas to help make this an amazing year for you and your child.

career in Australia and have taught (and loved) every grade level K-6. I came
to Colorado 10 years ago on an international teacher exchange program. This will be my sixth year in District 20, and I
am very happy to be here! I taught for two years at Douglass Valley Elementary
School, and then worked at the District 20 office in
Curriculum & Instruction before coming to ATE as the Assistant Principal.
