Laura Cresap, Principal

I have had the privilege of serving the Antelope Trails and Glen Eagle Community in an administrative role for 11 years.  I began my career at Antelope Trails in 2012 as the Assistant Principal, then transitioned to the role of Principal in 2013.  Prior to serving the Antelope Trails Community, I was the Assistant Superintendent in a school district in East Central Illinois for five years.  I have had the opportunity to serve as an administrator in public and private schools at the elementary and middle school levels since 1993.  Prior to these administrative positions, I taught in the classroom and Talented and Gifted (TAG) programs for five years.

I have been married to my husband, Terry, for 29 years.  We have 4 adult children (Ben, Lindsey, Mason, and Abigail) and 3 grandchildren (Dylan, Myah, and DeLaney) living in Iowa, Texas, and Georgia respectively.  In addition to serving the students, parents, and staff of Antelope Trails, my husband and I love spending time with our family.  We enjoy making memories and sharing experiences with our family which include playing games, going hiking and camping, biking, and attending sporting events for our grandchildren.  Terry and I are beginning to explore Pickle Ball, which is very exciting!

Gretchen McGregor, Assistant Principal

I am honored to serve as the assistant principal of Antelope Trails. This is my second year at the school and my fifth year in Academy District 20. I love being a part of the ATES family and serving this community. Being involved with the students is the highlight of my day. I love get to watch the students learn and grow.

Prior to my role as the Assistant Principal, I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and began my teaching career in 2002. In 2012, received my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership from Adams State University. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching first, second, third, and fourth grades. In addition to being in the classroom, I have worked as a district level Instructional Coordinator and an MTSS Coordinator. Throughout my career, I have worked in several districts around the Pikes Peak region and Wisconsin.

I am a proud Colorado native. Though I have lived in Washington and Wisconsin, Colorado has always been my home. Nothing beats the mountains, sunshine, and blue skies. My husband, Dion, and I have been married for 20 years. We have two children- Emily, who is a freshman in college at the University of Wyoming, and Luke, a freshman at Liberty High School. Our family enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, and going on family vacations.
